All the photos I took at the San Diego and FX 2 shows are up now. My next project is to scan the photos from the Special Effects 1 exhibit. These were taken with slide film. I have to find a good photo place to get prints made. The only Star Wars items at the FX 1 show were a couple of matte paintings. The rest of the Show was items from other films like; Spaceballs, Jaws, Ghost Busters and a few others. I also found some photos I took at a tour of the MST3 studios, including filming miniatures and the puppet robots. Welcome. On this page I posted photographs I have taken at three museum exhibits. Most of the photographs were taken at the San Diego Star Wars exhibit in 1999. A few were taken at the "Special Effects 1" 1988 and "Special Effects 2" 1996 exhibits at the Chicago Field Museum. The basic purpose of this page is to offer Star Wars enthusiast some extra reference for making and detailing their own models and costumes. Click on the thumbnails below to see a larger image. For those who want to see more detail some photos include a "click for large image" link below the thumbnail photo for a very large image (may take a minute to open). If there is a picture that does not have a larger image and you need one, let me know and I can add it. I will also sell prints from the original negatives if you want something for extreme detail or just for your own collection or library. If there is enough interest in prints I will post a price list for enlargements. I am also going to rescan all my photos at 300 dpi and offer a CD set for sale. I hope to have it ready by the end of July. Contact me if you're interested. I have not figure pricing out yet. WANTED: reference photos of the Blockade Runner, and Medical Frigate (will trade or purchase). Also a good detail shot of the outer wing hub on Darth Vader's Tie fighter. (When I get a chance I will include a few photos of items from other movies at the bottom of the page that I thought may be of interest. These were taken at the 1988 and 1996 Special Effects Exhibits in Chicago.) B-Wing, X-Wing, Y-Wing
Millennium Falcon
Slave1
Imperial Tie Fighters
Misc. Models
Costumes and props
I have also compiled a list of all the Star Wars model kits ever produced (production and garage kit models, excluding rocketry and statues). Click here to visit the Star Wars Model List page. If I missed something let me know and I will add it to the list. Photos of items from other movies
